Discontinue retinol or other exfoliating products 2-3 days before your appointment.

After your appointment

Avoid touching or applying anything on top of the peel; do not use makeup for 4-6 hours.
Wash your face gently in 4-6 hours after treatment.
Skip heavy exercise and activities that cause sweating for 7 days.
Avoid excessive heat, such as hot tubs or saunas, and direct sun exposure for at least 7 days.
Expect peeling and redness, which usually starts a few days after treatment and can last up to a week.

Pick up your pre-treatment skincare and numbing cream from our office. Use the skincare products as instructed for five days leading up to your appointment to optimize your results. Apply the numbing cream prior to your session as directed for a comfortable experience.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment.
Stop blood-thinning medications (like aspirin or ibuprofen) 3-7 days prior, if possible, after consulting your doctor.
Discontinue retinol or other exfoliating products 2-3 days before your appointment.

After your appointment

Avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated area and refrain from using makeup for 24 hours.
Skip heavy exercise and activities that cause sweating for 24 hours.

Mild redness and sensitivity are normal and should subside within a few days.
